Sounds of Summer Concerts

The Sounds of Summer concert series is a Thursday night fixture in downtown Arlington Heights. Starting June 4 and running through August, the series brings live music to Harmony Park every week from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The lineup rotates through a mix of genres — rock, blues, country, jazz, and covers — so there's usually something different each week.

Harmony Park sits right at the center of the downtown district, which makes these concerts easy to build an evening around. Grab dinner at one of the restaurants along Vail or Campbell before the show, or pick up takeout and eat in the park. Arlington Ale House, Mago Grill, and the other spots within walking distance all see a bump on concert nights. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket — seating is open and first-come on the grass.

The concerts are free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations needed. A heads-up on park rules: alcohol is not permitted in Harmony Park, and the Village asks that you leave dogs at home during concerts due to the crowds and sound levels.
