Harmony Fest featuring the Taste of Arlington Heights is the signature fall festival in downtown Arlington Heights. Co-hosted by the Village of Arlington Heights and the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce, the two-day event transforms Harmony Park at Vail Avenue and Campbell Street into a celebration of live music, local food, and community. Friday evening typically runs from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday from 3:00 to 11:00 p.m., drawing an estimated 20,000 people over the weekend. The festival features multiple live bands on the Harmony Park stage spanning genres from tribute acts to cover bands and original performers. In 2025, the lineup included Student Body, Mike & Joe, Fearless (a Taylor Swift tribute), The Breakfast Club, and Hello Weekend.
The Taste of Arlington Heights is the food and drink centerpiece of the weekend. Local restaurants set up vendor stations offering signature dishes and drinks, giving attendees a chance to sample the best of the village's dining scene without leaving the park. The Nak4 Kids' Zone provides free games and entertainment for children of all ages, and features meet-and-greet opportunities with members of the Arlington Heights Police and Fire Departments. The kids' zone typically runs 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, located on Campbell near Highland.
Admission to Harmony Fest is free. Free parking is available in several nearby lots and garages, including the Metra commuter lots, the underground lot on Evergreen just north of Sigwalt, and the Vail Street Garage at Vail and Sigwalt. The event takes place October 2 and 3, 2026. For the latest lineup and vendor details, visit vah.com/harmonyfest or the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce website.
